Abstract:
Under the leadership of Director General Dr. Wassim Daher, the South Lebanon Water Establishment (SLWE) has completed its Preliminary Assessment of Damage to Water Infrastructure across the South and Nabatiyeh Governorates following the Israeli war.
More than an assessment of damage, the report provides an evidence-based recovery roadmap to restore essential water services through emergency response, rehabilitation, and long-term reconstruction while strengthening the resilience of South Lebanon’s water infrastructure for future generations.
