La cuisine concerne tous les foyers du pays. Aujourd'hui, l'utilisation de combustibles polluants tels que le bois de chauffage, le charbon de bois et le kérosène a des conséquences dramatiques pour la santé publique, l'environnement local et mondial, ainsi que pour les opportunités offertes aux femmes et aux filles. En conséquence, le gouvernement du Kenya s'est fixé un objectif ambitieux : garantir un accès universel à des modes de cuisson propres d'ici 2028. Abstract:
Cooking touches every home across the country. Today, the use of polluting fuels such as firewood, charcoal and kerosene has dramatic consequences for public heath, the local and global environment, as well as the opportunities for women and girls. As a result, the Government of Kenya set an ambitious goal of universal access to clean cooking by 2028.
